If historical data is returned, an indicator is displayed. If a machine which had been queried (and updated in the database) becomes unavailable, inventoried data is returned instead of real-time data. As you query real-time information from your machines, the information is inventoried in the database. On first use, the GOVERLAN database will be empty. With GOVERLAN’s SURE DATA Technology you don’t have to trade off accuracy for availability – the data is directly queried from the system in real-time, then registered into a database back-end if a system is offline, GOVERLAN automatically pulls the information from the database, guaranteeing the most complete and accurate view of your environment. Real-time solutions are responsive and current but they can’t handle offline devices. System management solutions that are database-driven ensure data availability but may not be current.
